Majestic Lioness
I looked at the characteristics of the majestic lioness, Ninjutsu's preferred choice of hybrid, which epitomises both stealth and strength. Also known as a she-lion, the female of the species does most of the hunting to feed the pride. Able to hunt in the dark, the lioness uses the element of surprise, by stalking its victim, before rushing it in the last fifteen meters or so, and bringing it down. Once down, the she-lion then seizes its prey's throat with its mouth and strangles it to death. Just as, Ninjutsu does with the Furachi.

As the creation of, Ninjutsu unfolded in my mind, I found myself drawn to, Netytiri, princess of the 'Omaticaya Clan' and deuteragonist of the blockbuster - Avatar.
From the planet, 'Pandora,' Netytiri is brave, loyal, strong willed, and a formidable warrior. And just like the Pandoran warrior, Ninjutsu is skilled in close range combat.
Their similarities don't just lie in their prowess, or their similar struggle for peace on their respective home planets, but in their hybrid appearances too.
Thundercats
Thundercats are fictional cat-like humanoid aliens from the planet Thundera. The particular characters I drew inspiration from were, the omnipotent, 'Lion-o,' the lord of the Thundercats, with his all-powerful, 'Sword of Omens,' and Cheetara, with her stealth, amazing speed and power-staff.
Python
Although, equipped with a samurai sword, just like every Chickyujin, Ninjutsu's is blessed with special powers by the Satori. For when she is unable to get close enough to the Furachi, she transforms her sword into a python, which she then releases to silently slither up to its victim, before squeezing the life out of it.
